The City of Montebello understands and supports the public's right to access public records created and maintained by the City. A request is considered to be received during regular business hours (between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.) on a regular business day (Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays).
Upon receipt of a request for City records, the City shall determine within ten (10) days if the records are public and available within the City's records system and notify the requestor of such determination. An extension to search for, collect, and eximine the records requested may be required (Government Code Section 6250-6270).

The City Council/Successor Agency meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. for Closed Session and at 6:30 p.m. for Regular Session, in the City Hall Council Chmabers located at 1600 West Beverly Boulevard, Montebello, CA 90640.
The agenda and agenda packet related to items on this agenda are available for public inspection 72 hours before each meeting. Copies of the agenda cover sheers will be available for pickup at the front and west entrance of City Hall, as well as the north side of the building on Masser Place. Please note that only 10 copies will be distributed between the three locations and will be available for pick up on a first come, first served basis.
